We are well over the half way mark for summer and just 1 month away from school starting! We have been trying to stay cooled off and keep the summer fun. Carly attend Ms. Jen's summer camp (see Tatum Tots blog as one of my favs) for the month of June and is now enrolled in vacation bible school to finish out the summer. We have spent some time in Prescott which has a cooler climate than scorching hot Phoenix and we get to hang out with Grammy. Grammy, Carly and I went to the Prescott Zoo in June which is where the bottom photo was taken ( see big the black bear in the background). See Carly enjoying Prescott with Grammy!! She has not been cooperating with the camera too much these days, hence limited blog updates!! I did get a fraction of a smile at the Kiddie parade she was in. Prescott had there 70th annual kiddie parade and Carly participated with American Lutheran Church. She is truly my ALL American Girl! She is loving the pool and water features we have visited with friends. She has been taking swim lessons, reading and playing with friends. Sarah and Nate came to visit for a week in July and she loved their company even though the slept until 10:30AM most days! Have a great rest of the summer-- who knows, the next update might be the first day of school!?
