The bottom photo was taken on Saturday 3/19, the day after we arrived in MN. Carly and I took a nice walk; the snow was melting and the creek down below in the first photo was running from the warm temps melting the snow. It was not until Tues 3/22 evening that I realized what a MN snowstorm was all about. We received about 8-10 inches of snow ( if not more) overnight and it continued to snow throughout Wed. We were snowed in as our rental car was a Toyota Prius which seemed about 5 inches off the ground! A snow plow, it wasnt!! A few days later the temps dipped down to 9 degrees!! We definitely enjoyed this weather change but heard from ALL MN relatives that this was enough winter already!! We came home to 90 degree temps and certainly appreciate calling AZ home!!
