We made the best of our rained out Birthday party which was scheduled for Sun March 7th. Carly wanted a "horsey" party so we were all set for a day at MacDonald's Ranch. Well, Mother Nature thought otherwise. It started raining, thundering, and lightning the night before and rained throughout the night, then the sun came up in the AM with a few clouds and some light sprinkles. I thought, "well, it may clear up..."It pretty much poured all day long! We enjoyed our day together, inside with some family and friends. Our plan is to reschedule the outdoor Kids party to a sunny day very soon. Our afternoon ended with a downpour while the sun was trying to shine which resulted in a beautiful rainbow to end our day!
