Carly's uncle, Dana, surprised us on New Year's Eve by driving up in a car while Carly was out riding bike that day! We were just out for a leisurely walk/ ride when Andrew and Mary's car pulls up along side of us on Desert Willow and the window rolls down and there is Dana in the passenger seat. He flew in from WI for a week to hang out and do some job interviews! I was soooo shocked! No one had mentioned this to me........ and I hadnt checked FB to see that he had blown his cover and said he was heading to AZ. Hmmmm. Carly remembered him and his son, Jacob from a visit we had there last Oct. She was really sweet and friendly with him and sort of became his shadow while he stayed here. We miss him very much now that he has left. He will be back very soon to work in Young, AZ this summer on a Hotshot crew! We are looking forward to spending some time with him this summer!
